Spread a little love!
For most of us this is a busy time of year when things can
be a little strained as time can be tight (particularly
for those of us who are not so organized!) In preparation
for Santa’s arrival and generous gifts, it’s
a good time to clear the old to make way for the new and
keep that fresh energy moving.
It’s a particularly good time of year to ‘gift’
items to charity shops and organizations who can pass nearly
new items on to people who may be struggling at this time
of year. What unwanted items do you have that could be passed
on to someone who would really appreciate it? Visit yell.com
for a list of local charities in your area. Many do
collections too if you are really strapped for time.

Where
is your clutter?
Take an inventory of your home/office/shed/garden
so that you can see clearly and at a glance where your clutter
is. This has the advantage of making you face up squarely
to the areas you want to tackle. You will have them there
in black and white.
When you can eyeball the clutter areas they become easier
to dismantle piece by piece.
What is the area that would benefit you most if you tackled
it? This is a good place to start as you will feel the immediate
benefits.
I have pre-prepared inventory worksheets. I am happy to
send these to you: just let me know.

A little Overwhelmed?
When you feel overwhelmed with the amount of clutter you
have, start small. Pick an area: a drawer, a file, your
car boot, a jar, a small cupboard, your sewing box, anything
and just start. Often this will get your juices flowing
and then you really want to get stuck in to the bigger projects.
Even if you don't you will have done some
clutter clearing! If you do a little like that every day
or even once a week the results soon add up.
